Eating Earlier in the Day Linked to Greater Weight Loss

The time of day that you consume your calories may influence how much weight you lose while dieting.

In a new study in the “International Journal of Obesity”, researchers analyzed 420 subjects following a weight loss diet. Even when calorie intake was equal, eating more calories earlier in the day was associated with significantly greater weight loss.

Conclusions

Eating more at the beginning of the day may be in line with the body’s natural circadian rhythm and conducive to weight loss.
